SZTORM: electronic music event identity

Full identity for an electronic music event across two editions (August 2023, Solar Beach Bar). Logo, custom graffiti typography, posters, a social asset library, DJ portraits and a 3D logo animation built in Blender (GIF and MP4).

Problem

An electronic music event needed a recognisable visual identity for two editions: consistent across posters, social media and online promotion, and strong enough to pull a crowd to both dates.

Outcome

A complete event brand across two editions: logo, posters, a social asset library, DJ portraits and a 3D logo animation. The assets ran in the promotion of both events at Solar Beach Bar.

  1. 01Edition I identity: the SZTORM logo, typography built on graffiti and urban fonts, and a visual system.
  2. 02Asset set: vertical posters, Facebook event banners, Instagram posts and stories, and logo graphics.
  3. 03Photo session: studio DJ portraits, composited into posters and social graphics.
  4. 043D animation: modelling and animating the logo in Blender with a chrome finish, exported to GIF and MP4.
  5. 05Edition II: evolving the identity towards a liquid chrome direction with a new DJ line-up while keeping the brand recognisable.
