Dziunslo art toy figurine (concept)

A concept for a personalised collectible figure (art toy) of rap artist Dziunslo, built as a 3D model from a reference photo and prepared for FDM printing on our own farm. A keyring version shows a productisable offer of figures for music and creative clients.

Problem

A music artist needs a physical, recognisable object that links their image with fans away from the screen. The question is how to turn a photo of a character into a repeatable collectible object.

Outcome

The result is a working 3D model, a character render and a printed keyring figure, prepared for a possible FDM print run (a run of around 100 units was planned). The concept is in development and shows a productisable offer of figures and art toys for music brands.

  1. 01Studied the reference photo, taking the cap, sunglasses and hooded top as the character's defining features.
  2. 02Built the 3D character model using Hyper3D-assisted modelling.
  3. 03Prepared a keyring version with a loop set at the cap.
  4. 04Prepared the files for FDM printing on our own printer farm.
  5. 05Printed a test figure and reviewed the character detail.
